David Leach Celadon
This is a good glaze we used at Lowerdown when I worked there. It is good for cone 8-9 in reduction. It gives a nice jade green, works well in some of the cooler places in the kiln. Recipe - Kaolin - 25% Whiting - 25% Quartz - 25% Potash Feldspar- 25% (cornish stone also works) Red iron oxide - 2% Sieve all through 100 mesh sieve. KEEP PRACTICING !!
